Christmas can mean different things to different people. This holiday is filled with joy and happiness, but for some it might be filled with grief as well. Kim and Beth talk all things Christmas, trees and traditions with their friends Courtney and Angela! So grab a cup of your favorite warm beverage, a cozy blanket and settle in to join in the conversation.
Merry Christmas from all of us, to all of you!

Assistant Director of Communication
Courtney graduated from Southern Adventist University with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications (emphasizing photography) in 2009. After several years of long-term internships and freelance work in photography, PR and graphic design, Courtney decided to pursue a Master's degree in marketing. In October 2014, he accepted the position of Associate Director of Communications for the Carolina Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Charlotte, North Carolina. Courtney graduated with his MBA in Marketing from Bryan College in May 2015.
Courtney was the recipient of the 2019 Young Professionals Award from the Society of Adventist Communicators, SAC, (a professional organization for communication professionals that are members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church). He also has been asked to serve the next two years (2022-2024) on the board of advisors, as the assistant to the VP of Communications, for the Society of Adventist Communicators.
Courtney is often asked if he is interested in obtaining a PhD. If he pursues additional graduate studies, he wishes to gain a PhD in Strategic Communications focusing his dissertation on Crisis Communication. This is an area of Communications and Public Relations that he sees being quite crucial and ever changing at a rapid pace with social media and culture.
Courtney enjoys using his communication expertise for the Carolina Conference. He also enjoys photography as a hobby, as well as reading, running, hiking, playing violin, and singing in his church's praise team.
